Coach Hogan brings a wealth of experience and passion to our lacrosse program, combining years of hands-on coaching with a deep commitment to developing young athletes both on and off the field.
Coach Hogan's coaching journey in the Capital Region as the Bethlehem Modified Head Lacrosse Coach, where he worked closely with younger players to build fundamentals, confidence, and a lifelong love of the game. In that role, Coach Hogan helped create a supportive environment focused on skill development and team camaraderie, laying a strong foundation for athletes progressing to higher levels of competition. Building on that success, he also served as Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at CBA.
Coach Hogan developed his game at the high school level at Chaminade High School (1992) before continuing at Canterbury Prep (1993). He went on to compete at the collegiate level at the University of Notre Dame from 1993–1995, gaining experience within one of the nation’s most respected lacrosse programs. His background as a high-level player strongly influences his coaching approach, emphasizing fundamentals, discipline, and a strong understanding of the game.
Our 2029 team trains with a high-energy, development-focused practice schedule designed to build strong fundamentals, sharpen lacrosse IQ, and elevate overall performance. Players will work through skill development, position-specific training, gameplay concepts, and full-speed competitive reps — all led by experienced Stags coaches dedicated to helping each athlete grow.
