CJ Squires brings a strong foundation of experience and a proven track record of developing lacrosse players at the high-school and club levels. As Head Coach at La Salle Institute in Troy, NY, Coach Squires has guided the program with dedication and a commitment to growth. Since 2013, under his leadership, over 25 student-athletes from La Salle have advanced to collegiate lacrosse at the Division I, II, and III levels.
A former collegiate player at Bryant University (2003 roster), CJ understands the demands of playing lacrosse at a high level — and he uses that experience to help young athletes build fundamentals, confidence, and lacrosse IQ. Known for his disciplined coaching style and focus on player development, Coach Squires emphasizes teamwork, fundamentals, and hard work on and off the field.
The Albany Stags are proud to welcome Matthew Graham to our coaching staff. A dedicated mentor known for his commitment to player development and team culture, Graham brings a wealth of high-level playing and coaching experience to the program.
Graham’s coaching resume includes a tenure as an Offensive Assistant at The College of Saint Rose (2018–2019), where he was instrumental in offensive game planning, scouting, and individual skill development. Most recently, as a Varsity Head Coach, he has led his programs to consecutive semifinal berths and has successfully mentored numerous student-athletes who have gone on to compete at the NCAA Division II and III levels.
As a player, Graham was a standout four-year starter at The College of Saint Rose (2014–2018). He finished his collegiate career second all-time in program history in points, earning NE-10 All-Rookie and All-Conference honors while serving as team captain. A product of Arlington High School, Graham’s deep roots in the game inform his coaching philosophy: teaching "the right way." He prioritizes fundamentals, elite decision-making, and a team-first mindset to build confident, disciplined athletes with a high lacrosse IQ and strong leadership skills on and off the field
Our 2033 team trains with a high-energy, development-focused practice schedule designed to build strong fundamentals, sharpen lacrosse IQ, and elevate overall performance.
