Vonzel Legall joins the staff with a wealth of experience as both a Division I athlete and a collegiate coach. A native of Saratoga Springs, NY, Legall established himself as a versatile two-way midfielder known for his athleticism, defensive grit, and transition play. He currently serves as an Assistant Coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), where he helped guide the Engineers to a Liberty League Championship and an NCAA tournament appearance.
Legall played Division I lacrosse at Stony Brook University in the America East Conference. A key contributor to the Seawolves' midfield, he specialized as a Defensive Midfielder (SSDM), tasked with matching up against top opposing dodgers. During his tenure at Stony Brook, he was a consistent presence in the lineup, playing in nearly every game during his sophomore and junior seasons. His collegiate career was highlighted by his ability to spark transition, recording career highs in ground balls and caused turnovers during the team's 2010 campaign, while also contributing offensively with key goals and assists.
Before his collegiate career, Legall was a standout athlete at Saratoga Springs High School. A three-year letter winner, he graduated as a prolific playmaker, breaking the school record for assists in a single season with 41 as a senior.
Coach Connor White joins our staff with an elite playing pedigree and a deep commitment to player development. A standout at the Division 1 level, Connor played four years at Manhattan University as a starting attackman, where he was a three-time All-MAAC Academic Team selection.
A local legend in the New York lacrosse scene, Connor led the entire state in goals and points during his senior year at Queensbury High School, setting single-season records for both. He was a 3-star recruit by Inside Lacrosse and a two-time Player of the Year before completing a postgraduate year at the prestigious Bridgton Academy in Maine.
With six years of coaching experience—including three years as Head Coach of the ADK Timberwolves LC and three years as an assistant for the Queensbury Varsity program—Coach White brings a high-IQ, offensive-minded approach to our 2029 team.
Our 2029 team trains with a high-energy, development-focused practice schedule designed to build strong fundamentals, sharpen lacrosse IQ, and elevate overall performance. Players will work through skill development, position-specific training, gameplay concepts, and full-speed competitive reps — all led by experienced Stags coaches dedicated to helping each athlete grow.
