Don Shea
Assistant Director of Recruiting & Coaching
Supports the overall development of Stags players and coaches. Assists with player evaluations, individual player development, team coaching, and implementation of the Stags training curriculum. Works with players and families on the recruiting process, provides guidance on college opportunities, and helps build relationships with college coaches. Assists Program Director with staff coordination, player assessments, and overall program development.
About Don Shea
Coach Don Shea, a Long Island native, began his playing career at national powerhouse St. Anthony’s High School before competing at the Division I level for Butler University. With more than 20 years of collegiate coaching experience, he currently serves as an assistant coach at Skidmore College and previously spent 14 years on staff at the University at Albany.
A founding member of the Stags program, Coach Shea has served as a Director since its inception and brings unmatched experience, leadership, and long-standing commitment to the development of our athletes and coaches.
